For natural ventilation and natural smoke and heat extraction (RWA), GEZE provides system solutions for opening and closing windows in three areas:
Manual opening systems
Diverse solutions for manual ventilation
uncomplicated and individual.
Electrically operated ventilation drive systems
The intelligent way to open windows, conveniently
and controlled.
Smoke and heat extraction systems (RWA)
Safety with ventilation power – RWA saves lives.
They are indispensible for preventive fi re protection for windows and effi ciently remove smoke from a building. In the event of a fi re, people can escape quickly and safety. System solutions ensure coordinated actuation and release of all RWA supply and exhaust air openings via one of our individual RWA control centres. The GEZE chain drives are slimline electric drives for direct opening of bottom-hung, top-hung, horizontally pivot-hung, side-hung and vertically pivoted windows. The drives are fitted parallel to the window and their corresponding colours harmoniously fit in the window architecture. All chain drives have a special chain, which transmits both pulling and pushing force. This chain precisely and safely operates the window casements. In closed position the chain is invisibly rolled up within the drive housing.
The chain drives are intended for vertically installed rectangular windows in dry rooms. The drives E 640 and E 660 are also suited for angled windows (skylights) and light domes.
Tandem
version:
For extremely wide and heavy casements it is possible to use two drives
in
tandem configuration with corresponding synchronised cut-off, e.g. GEZE E
102
(24 V) or 301 (230 V).
